History
The GK'S vademecum project has been created after a discussion at LesLabo2011 and after a Brainstorm on the vademecum It's been continued at Essen's 2011 sessions A week after the end of Essen 2011 session, Rut, Conrad and Anne gathered in Berlin and went through a printed version of the text, in order to create a list of what is left to be done. We established a list of small actions that we thought should be taken by different GK's participants... but of course, anyone can edit the booki. We also proposed to give us mid September as a deadline, so the Vademecum will be up to date and readable for new comers as well as potential funders. Other suggestions of organization can be made here, or preferably on the list if you want to catch attention and bring discussion

Task attribution
Have a look at the /ToDoListByParticipants
Everyone is welcome to read and edit everything. Add you name or just go ahead if you feel like it. We¹ put your name in front of task as we thought you would likely be interested in the related subjected, or potentially be the only person able to do that in the Gang. If you really don't want to do something, you can remove your name. If you think that someone else could do it, please talk on the list.
¹ This overview of the Vademecum and this task attribution has been realized during a small meeting that we had with Rut, Anne and Conrad, a week after Essen 2011 sessions.
Overviewing
... That's a task in itself. It's better to be a few of us keeping an eye on the general project and its' development. Make sure the text is understandable for new comers, proof read the English formulation, look upon the technical pages so they are not introducing to much of a bias, or becoming out of date ... Who is willing to help on that ?

Gangplank Vademecum
A Vademecum is something that you can carry around with you to travel, work, learn and play with. This little guide is to welcome you, to give you inspiration and explain you the possibilities and tools developed by a group of artists, technicians and designers in a spirit of collaboration, openness and non-hierarchical expertise sharing. This Vademecum is a collective handbook basically aimed at Gangplankers, as well as people joining our meetings for the first time. On the other hand, it's also aimed at anyone interested in the relationship between living art, technology, artists, technicians and all that could lie in between.
Subtitle : Floss in the theatre ?

this subtitle was a suggestion, to stick to the weirdness and dental-related style of the title. What do you think about it ?
